Thermomax has revolutionized the solar energy industry by perfecting a solar collector that, on an annual basis, is two to three times more efficient than familiar flat-plate collector systems and 15% more efficient and much higher quality than double-walled tubes from Asia. You can simply get more energy from smaller absorber areas than any other collector on the market.

Thermomax Collectors will provide heat from direct sunlight, diffuse sunlight and reflected sunlight, due to the most efficient vacuum insulation in the industry (0.00001 millibar). Cloudy days still heat your water! We can supply you with up to 100% of your annual hot water and heating requirements.

What do the graphs mean?

Find your location, or nearest ‘dot’ in the same area with the same or similar latitude. HOVER over the dot to see basic information for your city. CLICK the dot and see the full information. Your latitude is the degree value you will want to have your collectors angled from horizontal (system tilt). This tilt value also represents the best angle for solar radiation collection at peak collection hours.

The data for your city also shows how many gallons a single 30 Tube Thermomax Collector will heat in one year by 60 degrees Fahrenheit (or 35.5 degrees C). The collectors will heat your water to much higher temperatures; simply use these examples to give an idea of capacity.

Use the graph to see how much energy the tubes produce per day on average, noting that 5000 BTU = 1.47 KWhr. Also note that 10 MJ (Mega Joules) = 2.7 Whr of energy (i.e. 1 MJ = 0.27 KWHr)
