Solar BC Incentives

Solar BC provides an incentive to encourage the installation of solar hot water systems in homes, municipal buildings, schools, social housing and First Nations communities. The incentive is available on systems installed by contractors registered with Solar BC.

Residential:
Initiatives up to $1625.00 for residential projects.
- $1000 point of sale discount from Solar BC to individual households
- $500 discount from ecoENERGY retrofit
- $125 from Live-smart program
Developers:
- Solar BC is currently in the process of finalizing Developer Initiatives. When they post it, we will have it here for you.

We offer packages designed to interface with the Solar BC incentive. These approved systems can be installed by any certified installer. They are also available to customers from Alberta and Washington State.

ecoENERGY Commercial Development Incentive

The ecoENERGY incentive rate is based on gross area of the collector, assigning each collector a performance factor (Pf). The ecoENERGY incentive is an excellent opportunity to get the best collector on the market.
