Certification

ISO9001 certification assures that Thermomax utilizes a methodical approach to the control of company systems and manufacturing procedures. By use of a directed quality programme the company can monitor consistency of performance and the progress against set objectives. Focus is given to continuous improvement, manufacturing consistency, and product quality and customer satisfaction.

Thermomax was the first company to receive the European quality mark for solar collectors – the SolarKeymark.
Awarded by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), the Solar Keymark provides assurance that the product complies with the highest European Standard(s). Solar collectors and solar thermal systems are vigorously tested concerning their efficiency, usability, safety and reliability.

The Solar Rating and Certification Corporation currently administers a certification, rating, and labeling program for solar collectors and a similar program for complete solar water heating systems.

However, the SRCC testing methodology underrates evacuated tube collectors (ETCs).

In 2005, Thermomax DF100, HP100 and HP200 collectors were awarded the International Forum Design award for excellence in product design.
