Tyfocor HTL is made by Tyforop Chemie GmbH, in Hamburg Germany.

TYFOCOR® HTL is a special, ready-to-use heat transfer fluid based on non-toxic glycols for use in solar systems that are subject to extreme thermal conditions.


TYFOCOR® HTL is a transparent liquid dyed blue-green with a mild scent. It is based on propylene glycol and polyethylene glycol.
The corrosion inhibitors in TYFOCOR® HTL reliably protect all the metal materials normally used in solar thermal systems — even for mixed installations — over the long term against corrosion, aging, and scaling. Upon exceeding the maximum stagnation temperature of 200°C, in some cases precipitates can form. Thanks to the combination of selected glycols and inhibitors, however, no system downtime or malfunctions occur when the application recommendations are followed.
